THE MERRY CHRISTMAS TREE FARM A FAMILY TRADITION
OPEN Thanksgiving Day through Dec. 23rd, 9:00AM until Dark (about 5:45PM)
Hello to our many customers from THE MERRY CHRISTMAS TREE FARM. The spring tree planting survival rate was dealt a blow with the drought of July through September! However, we over planted again this year in anticipation of a drought, and should be fine in the years ahead. The drought did affect the summer growth of trees, but they are still beautiful! We have a plentiful supply of Leyland Cypress, Carolina Sapphires, and Eastern Red Cedars. The White Pines are still limited to 6 feet and smaller, but growing nicely. Our Fraser Fir supplier tells us that the Frasers are full and beautiful, a great addition to any home for Christmas. We will have a limited number of Fraser Fir "seconds", as replacements for White Pines, reasonably priced again this year! We hope everyone was pleased with their tree last year, and we look forward to providing a high quality tree and experience during your visit this year.
We will continue to transition to email from the postal service in an effort to reduce costs. Please sign up on the web site, or in person at the farm. We thank you for considering this cost-cutting change.
As always, reaching new customers is a challenge! Passing this newsletter on to family and friends that may enjoy the farm experience would assist in our marketing efforts. If you are like us, we use email to maintain our relationships with friends and web sites for shopping information. The Merry Christmas Tree Farm values you as a customer, and would welcome your friends who may be interested in cutting their own tree, or buying a fresh Fraser Fir!
The Merry Christmas Tree Farm strives to provide a safe, beautiful Farm location for you and your family to enjoy. Please be aware, we are a working farm, and there are many hazards such as dips, holes, and other obstacles that can trip you. In addition, various insects inhabit the Farm, including Fire Ants, that are a nuisance to visitors. Treatments have been applied, but the hazards may still be present.
As Choose and Cut, we will be offering lovely LEYLAND CYPRESSES, limited EASTERN WHITE PINES, CAROLINA (BLUE) SAPPHIRES, EASTERN RED CEDARS and a limited number of CLEMSON GREENSPIRES. As Pre-Cuts, we will have varying sizes of fresh, high quality FRASER FIRS from the nearby North Carolina high country. Our WREATHS will be freshly made right here on the farm. We'll also have Christmas Tree Stands and other holiday accessories on hand for purchase.
The traditional free Coffee and Hot Chocolate will be available. And, oh yes, we'll continue to have some of the popular small Charlie Brown "freebie trees" for authentic kids.
We Guarantee Satisfaction with your tree or we offer a cheerful exchange.
