Hello to our many customers from THE MERRY CHRISTMAS TREE FARM. Again, this year we have been busy with the farm chores, and trying to keep the new planting alive through the drought! Everyone in the Upstate has had to deal with the lack of rain, but it is especially hard on our newly planted White Pines. We hope everyone was pleased with their tree last year, and look forward to providing a high quality tree and experience on your visit this year.
We are always striving to reach new customers, and would greatly appreciate you passing this newsletter on to friends and family that would enjoy the farm experience. If you are like us, we use email to maintain our relationships with friends. Again, we would greatly appreciate you passing our web site along to anyone that may be interested in cutting their own tree, or buying a fresh Fraser Fir!
We continue to work to improve our wildlife habitat, for deer and wild birds, by growing specific plants, and maintaining bird houses, and feeders.
We also try our best to provide a safe, beautiful Farm location to visit for your tree. Please be aware, we are a working farm, and there are many hazards such as dips, holes and other obstacles that can trip you. Also, we have various creatures such as Fire Ants that we have tried to eliminate but may still be present.
As Choose and Cut, we will be offering lovely LEYLAND CYPRESSES, EASTERN WHITE PINES, CAROLINA (BLUE) SAPPHIRES, EASTERN RED CEDARS and a limited number of CLEMSON GREENSPIRES. As Pre-Cuts, we will have varying sizes of fresh, high quality FRASER FIRS from the nearby North Carolina high country. Our WREATHS will be freshly made right here on the farm. We'll also have Christmas Tree Stands and other holiday accessories available.
The traditional free Coffee and Hot Chocolate will be available. And, oh yes, we'll continue to have some of the popular small Charlie Brown "freebie trees" for authentic kids.
