Hello to our many “NEW” friends and “OLD” customers of THE MERRY CHRISTMAS TREE FARM. We certainly have had an exciting year, getting settled into the farm, and learning the many chores that must be performed. We hope everyone was pleased with their tree last year, and look forwarded to providing a high quality tree and experience on your visit this year.

Santa Claus will visit the farm again this year! He has agreed to make an appearance on November 24th and 25th, December 1st and 2nd, and December 8th and 9th. Santa will be dressed as “Tiger Claus” on December 2nd and 9th. Parents may want to dress children in their best Clemson apparel for the experience. He will be available 11AM to 2PM. Pictures and a DVD of the experience can be purchased for a nominal price.

Hopefully, if the deer have not eaten everything, we will have a small plot of gigantic Sunflowers, and other flowers. The plot will also include deer and wild bird plant varieties to enhance their habitat.

We have strived to provide a safe, beautiful Farm location to visit for your tree. Please be aware, we are a working farm, and there are many hazards such as dips, holes and other obstacles that can trip you. Also, we have various creatures such as Fire Ants that we have tried to eliminate but may still be present.

As Choose and Cut, we will be offering lovely LEYLAND CYPRESSES, EASTERN WHITE PINES, CAROLINA (BLUE) SAPPHIRES, EASTERN RED CEDARS and a limited number of CLEMSON GREENSPIRES. As Pre-Cuts, we will have varying sizes of fresh, high quality FRASER FIRS from the nearby North Carolina high country. Our WREATHS will be freshly made right here on the farm. We'll also have Christmas Tree Stands and other holiday accessories available.

The traditional free Coffee and Hot Chocolate will be available. And, oh yes, we'll continue to have some of the popular small Charlie Brown “freebie trees” for authentic kids.
